From August 27 to September 1, 2013, a cartoon animation exhibition was held in Tianjin Art Gallery. Over 200 animation works created by artists from the National Animation Industry Park were on display.

Established in 2011, the National Animation Industry Park is the first national-level animation industry park authorized by China's Ministry of Culture. It has been striving to forge a platform of original cartoon of China and animation resources nationwide.
