The National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, functioned as the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. After the Olympic Games completed, the stadium is used for holding some sports games and events, and it also becomes a popular tourism attraction in Beijing.

Recently, the National Stadium opens its entire roof surface to the public. The newly renovated walkways have been extended from 200 to 1,000 meters in length, to cover the whole roof from south to north. Visitors can walk along the walkways on the roof of the National Stadium.
