Many straw-made figures are standing in a field in Wuyuan, East China's Jiangxi province. All the works are made of locally grown straws with folk features.

 

 

The countryside around Wuyuan is a scattered cluster of the most picturesque villages in China, where old towns remain preserved in panoramas of ancient houses, glittering rivers, and stone flagged alleyways.

 

Moreover, Wuyuan has more than 667 hectares of terraced rapeseed fields. The best time of year to enjoy the rapeseed flowers is in March and April, but this year some flowers are already in bloom in February.
