The 3rd Qianmen Historical Culture Festival is held from August 7th to 18th 2012. As a hallmark of Beijing culture, the event this year is themed on time-honored Qianmen with new vitality, thus displaying the traditions through various activities.
During the festival, the forum on time-honored brands, Taiwan art ware show, treasure show and other activities are to be held in terms of promoting the image of Beijing as the cultural center. Furthermore, as the grand finale of this year’s event, Tianleyuan, a brand theater house with a history of about 200 years will embrace its reopening.
Qianmen historical culture block is situated along Beijing axis close to Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and other historical spots, representing the old part of Beijing. And now, with the most representative old brand stores, Qianmen is becoming the name card of the charm of Beijing.
