The Beijing Sand Sculpture Festival will open in mid-August. The exhibition will be held in Tongzhou Canal Park and last for two months.

The artworks to be displayed were once be shown at the Yokohama Sand Art Exhibition and won broad praise. The Beijing festival will feature sculptures based on sea games, Chinese Zodiac and constellation.
