From April 18, 2025, the bullet train from Beijing Daxing Station to Tianjinxi station was opened, with the fastest journey taking 46 minutes.

Currently, the operation plan is to run 6 pairs of trains during the evening rush hours on Fridays and Sundays, and 4 pairs during the Monday morning rush hour.

These new trains meet the travel needs of local residents and ease the pressure on the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway at Beijing South Station. They also improve transportation between Beijing and Tianjin, giving commuters a new travel choice.
