Starting from 8 November 2024, a visa-free policy will be implemented on a trial basis for ordinary passport holders from 9 countries including Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and South Korea.

During this period until 31 December 2025, holders of ordinary passports from the nine countries who come to China for business, sightseeing and tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for not more than 15 days, could enter China without a visa.
