The 12th Beijing Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival opens in September. Approximately 400,000 pots of different varieties of chrysanthemums and other kinds of flowers in various colors appeared in six parks in the city, with a total area of more than 120,000 square meters.

The 12th Beijing Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival lasts for 38 days and will last until the end of November. The festival is jointly sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscaping, Beijing Park Management Center, and Beijing Flower Association.

This year’s Chrysanthemum Culture Festival has arranged six exhibition areas, including Beijing International Flower Port, Temple of Heaven Park, Beihai Park, Beijing World Flower Garden, Beijing Botanical Garden, and World Grape Expo Garden. The festival also launches a number of flower-based cultural, fitness, leisure, science and other activities for people.
