The 5th World Traditional Wushu Championships is to be held from 5 to 11 November 2012 in Huangshan city of Anhui Province. Athletes from both home and abroad will show different types of traditional Wushu, including Tai Chi, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Eight Diagrams Palm and other kinds of traditional Wushu during the seven days’ event.

 

The competitions of the Championships include individual, dual and group events consisting of traditional barehanded routine and apparatus routine. In the meantime, the first traditional skills exhibition of Chinese intangible cultural heritage and a Wushu-related forum will be organized during the championships.

 

Sponsored by International Wushu Federation, the World Traditional Wushu Championships is among the world's most influential sport events of martial arts.
