The 14th China Chongqing Three Gorges (Wushan) International Red Leaf Festival will open on November 20.

During the festival, there will be more than 20 interactive activities held for people, and 13 special tour routes will be launched, allowing people to enjoy the beauty of Wushan and enjoy the delicious Wushan food. People can take part in the cultural tourism activities, Tug of war, the wedding show, etc.

There are nearly 200 varieties of the red leaves in Wushan, mainly the Sumac, maple, etc. The total area currently exceeds 1.2 million acres, of which the concentration of contiguous red leaves has reached more than 150,000 acres. The red leaf viewing period is as long as 3 months, which can extend from early November to January of the following year. The weather has been fine recently, and it is a good time to appreciate the red leaves.
