On January 20 2014, a Zhang Daqian painting art exhibition was held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. More than 100 paintings and calligraphy pieces by Zhang are currently on display.

Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), born in Sichuan, is considered to be one of the most influential Chinese artists of the 20th century.
